As part of this commitment, reporting to the Senior Engineer: Mine Planning, you will be responsible for the planning functions of the underground operations to meet all safety, production and cost targets driven by the short and medium-term plan; and aligned with the strategic goals and objectives of the business.

This is an on-site position with a roster of 8 days on 6 days off. Both residential and FIFO options are available.

What You’ll Do:
- Prepare stope designs, level plan layouts and mining instructions as required to meet the operational mining schedule.
- Ensure mine plans are completed considering ventilation, infrastructure and pastefill requirements.
- Prepare underground design optimisations, sensitivities, and reports.
- Develop infrastructure plans and schedules with due consideration to mining interactions and budget requirements.
- Guide and communicate planning guidance to the Production Team, assisting with weekly schedule development.
- Assist with project collaboration and coordination across multiple departments
Who Are We Looking For?
- A motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment, as well as a safety-conscious individual
- Tertiary Qualifications in Mining Engineering, or a related discipline
- Completed a WA First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency, or ability to obtain one.
- Demonstrate strong underground engineering experience, preferably in gold operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mining software such as Deswik and Ventsim.
- Possess a manual valid Driver’s License.
