Your New Role

Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, you will be responsible for planning, executing and interpreting drilling programs that support resource growth and project advancement. Working collaboratively across geology, mining, and technical services, you’ll help identify and define the future of Granny Smith.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute grade control, exploration and resource drilling programs
  • Log and interpret geological data, contributing to robust geological models
  • Manage contractors and field activities to ensure safe, efficient operations
  • Deliver high-quality geological reporting and analysis
  • Support resource estimation and technical reviews
  • Contribute to long-term discovery and development strategies
  • Champion safe work practices and environmental compliance

 

About You

You’re a geologist with a passion for discovery, a strong technical foundation, and a desire to make a real impact. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are driven by continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Geology or Earth Sciences
  • Previous experience in gold exploration and/or near-mine resource development
  • Skilled in geological logging and interpretation
  • Experience in grade control estimation and wireframing
  • Familiar with geological software such as Leapfrog, Datamine and Deswik
  • Skilled in the use of geological databases such as Acquire
  • Excellent communication and field coordination skills
  • Valid manual driver’s licence
