Senior Specialist Business Improvement

Our Opportunity:

Gold Fields’ Global Asset Optimisation team are seeking a Senior Advisor to join the team at our iconic Granny Smith site. This is a site-based role where you'll drive Asset Optimisation programs to unlock asset value by continuously improving processes and systems, enhancing operational efficiency.

Supported by the Superintendent Asset Optimisation, you will investigate and analyse operational processes to identify cost reduction and efficiency opportunities. 

You'll collaborate with senior management, site leadership, and operations teams to align short-term initiatives with long-term goals and ensure the effective deployment of AO systems and programs.

This role is being offered on 8:6, 4:3 roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth.

About the role:

• Project Leadership: Drive projects from pipeline to execution as a BI Subject Matter Expert and internal consultant.
• Business Improvement & Change: Implement improvement practices and change management to support departmental and site strategies.
• Coaching & Training: Co-lead BI sessions and coach change leaders and sponsors across departments.
• Strategy & Compliance: Support strategy development and ensure reporting compliance to meet business goals.
• Management Operating System (MOS) Implementation: Partner with area leads to implement and audit the MOS.
• Communication & Change: Develop and execute communication and change strategies for improvement initiatives.
• Process Optimisation: Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency.

About you: 

• Experience in a Senior level role focusing on business improvement, systems, and organisational change models.
• Qualifications in Project Management or experience with a strong understanding of PM principles.
• Black Belt Six Sigma Certification highly desirable.
• Strong communication with ability to engage, influence and solve problems.
• Advanced ability for statistical analysis and associated statistical software.
