Accountant Costs

Gruyere Gold Mine, a Gold Fields and Gold Road Resources Joint Venture (50/50) is located in the Yamarna Greenstone Belt in Western Australia. Gruyere was commissioned in 2019 and is one of Australia's largest and lowest cost gold mining operations boasting a plant production of 300,000+ ounces per annum with an enviable production profile more than 8 years.

Role Details:

Reporting to the Manager: Finance, you will be responsible for all financial matters in relation to Gruyere Gold Mine.

This role is offered on 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.

About the role:

• Assist in the preparation and analyse of the Gruyere Gold Mine operating and capital budgets and forecast
• Continuous improvement of the analytical reporting models and for forecasting tools
• Support and train cost control and commercial matters to key stakeholders
• Complete month end procedures and liaise between key stakeholders on and off site to meet Gold Fields reporting requirements, including operating and capital reporting, analysis of key cost drivers, presentation preparation and compliance with SOX controls, accounting policies and GAPP

About you:

• Tertiary qualifications – Degree in Accounting
• A CPA or CA Qualification would be highly regarded
• Strong experience in a financial role within a mining environment, previous supervisory experience would be highly desirable
• Experience in budgeting and financial modelling
• Demonstrate knowledge of ERP systems – SAP is essential and Xeras budgeting experience would be advantageous
