Gold Fields have an opportunity for Senior Electrical Engineer to join the processing maintenance team at our Gruyere Gold Mine, a Gold Fields and Gold Road Resources Joint Venture (50/50) located in the Yamarna Greenstone Belt in Western Australia.
The role reports to our Superintendent Processing Maintenance and will be responsible for the coordination of electrical engineering related projects and maintenance work for all fixed plant facilities. This role will also ensure that engineering design and installation is compliant with user requirements, all relevant legislatives rules and regulations and Gold Fields standards.

This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.

About the role:
- Keep our site electrical standards up to date and compliant with national and international regulations
- Lead the electrical side of key projects and maintenance work
- Provide technical advice to contractors and ensure work meets best practices and standards
- Work closely with end users to hand over new or upgraded equipment smoothly, including manuals, drawings, and spare parts
- Help manage project costs and stay within budget

About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical) is essential along with significant heavy industry or mining experience.
- Project Management qualifications and experience highly regarded
- HV distribution experience
- Current manual C class license
- Advanced SAP and Office skills
- Demonstrate strong communication, collaboration and values alignment
