Senior Supply Officer

Gruyere Gold Mine, a Gold Fields and Gold Road Resources Joint Venture (50/50) is located in the Yamarna Greenstone Belt in Western Australia. Gruyere was commissioned in 2019 and is one of Australia's largest and lowest cost gold mining operations boasting a plant production of 300,000+ ounces per annum with an enviable production profile over 10 years.

Role Details:

Reporting to the Supervisor: Supply, you will contribute to the achievement of operational and strategic targets by ensuring minimal disruption to safety and production through the effective supervision of a comprehensive supply function ensuring the timely procurement, receipt, issue, security and storage of materials and equipment.

This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.

About the role:

• Diligently apply and impart knowledge and skills in the leadership of the supply function.

• Ensure minimal disruption to operations by the timely requisition and Receipt of required materials.

• Maintain a productive working relationship with planning and mechanical personnel, liaising with them to accurately understand their service requirements.

• Proactively manage stock levels of critical spares and consumables.

• Maintain a professional, results oriented team approach.

• Store inventory received within the warehouse, so it is easily located within SAP.

• Provide ongoing leadership and mentoring to the Supply team.

• Conduct stock takes, ensuring sufficient human resources available to deliver the objectives of the task and client service delivery requirements.

About you:

• You will have prior experience in a supply mining environment as a Senior

• Current WA Drivers Licence

• A High-Risk Forklift Licence & Senior First Aid

• SAP experience

• A high level of communication skills and ability to lead a small team
