What You Will Be Doing:
- Collaborate the design and implementation of advanced material handling systems and automation initiatives.
- Manage the full lifecycle of high-impact operational projects, from scoping to commissioning.
- Develop functional specifications and business cases for game-changing operational initiatives.
- Oversee large-scale projects, ensuring they align with Gold Fields’ strategic goals while being delivered on time and within budget.
- Drive efficiency improvements, implement new methodologies, and optimise workflows to maintain industry leadership.
- Ensure new operational systems and processes are smoothly integrated across sites.
- Be part of cutting-edge innovation as you contribute to designing the future of mining operations.
Who We’re Looking For:
- A bachelor’s degree in mining engineering (or related discipline) and a Western Australia First Class Mining Manager's Certificate.
- Extensive experience in managing large-scale operational projects within the mining industry, ideally across both underground and open-pit operations.
- A proven track record of scoping, executing, and commissioning mining-related projects.
- Strong leadership and change management skills, with the ability to drive new processes across multiple sites and teams.
- A passion for innovation and a keen interest in the future of mining and automation.
