The central maintenance planning team in our Perth office has an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join their team.


Role Details:

Reporting to the Senior Regional Planner, you will provide comprehensive maintenance planning for your department. You will work to ensure the timely achievement of operational targets and strategic projects.

This role is offered on 5:2 4:3 roster, permanent basis. For this role, we will consider full-time, part-time, or job share options. Flexible working arrangements are available after a qualifying period for the right candidate.

About the role:

  • Anticipating and eliminating potential delays through the planning and coordination of labour, parts, material, and equipment

  • Develop weekly maintenance schedules and communicate effectively with operational and technical teams

  • Assist site stakeholders in managing their responsibilities, identifying work, scoping work, assigning work, and resolving planning/ scheduling related issues

  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers for the provision of equipment, materials, and services

  • Regular site visits are required to ensure the excellence of deliverables

  • Review effectiveness of planned maintenance activities

  • Identify short to long-term improvement opportunities in planning and asset management

 

About you:

  • Current 'C’ Class WA Drivers Licence

  • Experience in software applications including SAP, AMT, and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to follow processes and leadership instructions

  • Previous experience in AMT would be desirable but not essential

  • Practical experience in maintenance planning and processing plant equipment maintenance
