Gold Fields has a permanent position available for a dynamic and experienced Senior Advisor People to join the Gruyere team on an 8 days on 6 days off roster Fly in Fly out from Perth.
Role Details
Reporting to the Manager People, you will coordinate cultural development programs, drive employee engagement, and provide expert advice on employee relations and performance management. This role will play a key part in delivering our 2025 people plan, including rolling out new programs and initiatives, while supporting leaders in building effective teams aligned with our values and purpose.
The role is offered as a permanent position on an 8 days on 6 days off roster Fly in Fly out from Perth. Flexibility on roster will be considered.

About the role:
-
Cultural Development & Engagement: Coordinate the planning and delivery of cultural initiatives with a focus on respectful workplaces and a multi-asset environment.

Employee Relations & Support: Provide comprehensive coaching and advisory support to leaders and employees regarding employee relations, performance management, and HR policies.

HR Project Implementation: Contribute to the design, delivery, and implementation of key HR projects, ensuring clear communication and strategic alignment.

Employee Engagement Activities: Lead and support initiatives related to onboarding, development planning, diversity and inclusion, and wellness programmes.

Reporting & Analysis: Ensure accurate completion and integrity of all People & Engagement reports and financial data, including analysis and communication of findings.

Inclusive & Performance-Based Culture: Foster an inclusive workforce, driving performance-based results while promoting diversity and retention strategies.

Compliance & Procedure Management: Ensure HR procedures, systems, and policies align with legislative requirements and organizational best practices.
About you:

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline

Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a minimum of three years’ experience in an Advisory role

Proven experience working with employment legislation, investigations, and performance case management

Ability to create and collaborate effective and respectful working relationships with leaders and employees at all levels of the business

Prior experience working in a mining or resources fly-in fly-out site environment is desirable
-
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications and prior experience with Success Factors and SAP is preferable

Valid Driver’s Licence
