Role Details:

Reporting to the Unit Manager: People & Engagement, you will be responsible for providing functional Human Resources (HR) support across the Agnew site to assist in maintaining a motivated workforce that is committed to the success and values of Gold Fields Australia.

This role is offered on 4 days on 3 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth. However, alternative roster arrangements can be discussed.

About the role:

  • Provide advice, support and coaching to Supervisors/Line Managers in the areas of employee relations, performance development and policy issues;

  • Implement key HR projects and strategies, ensuring clear communication and support is provided;

  • Contribute to design and implementation of employee engagement activities;

  • Prepare presentations, monthly and quarterly reports and financial data by collecting and analysing information and ensuring accuracy and integrity before it is communicated;

  • Maintain site HR presence and availability for employees of a seamless HR service ensuring that all general employee queries are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner;

  • Actively participate in a diverse range of professional networking opportunities by developing and fostering collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business needs;

  • Consistently demonstrate and reflect behaviours, actions and attitudes in line with the Gold Fields Vision, Values and Code of Ethics;

  • Contribute to the development, review and implementation of site Human Resources procedures and systems to ensure consistency within the Human Resources function and monitor adherence and compliance to legislation.

 

About you:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline

  • Solid Human Resources experience, with Senior Advisor-level experience preferable

  • Ability to work autonomously while building collaborative relationships and utilising influencing skills

  • Ability to develop effective and respectful working relationships with leaders and employees at all levels of the business

  • Ideally experience working in a mining or resources fly-in fly-out site environment

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications and prior experience with Success Factors and is desirable
