Reporting to Coordinator: Electrical, within the Lefroy processing plant you shall provide quality and timely preventative electrical and instrumentation maintenance and repairs of the processing facilities and other areas of the operation as required and ensure all work carried out is aligned with Gold Fields and operation specific quality procedures and statutory regulations.

This role offered is a residential (Kalgoorlie or Kambalda), 8 days on 6 days off roster. Being on call during the roster is a requirement of this role.

Duties of the role:
- Preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting, and timely repair of plant equipment;
- Provide reliable and accurate maintenance knowledge and expertise to minimise down time;
- Working knowledge of all task instructions and procedures to adhere to when carrying out maintenance tasks;
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping through workshops and wherever work is carried out;
- Recording all relevant information into Gold Fields CMMS - SAP/AMT as required.
- Be comfortable working in small team environment
We are looking for;
- An unrestricted WA Electrical License
- A Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation
- Proven experience in electrical & instrumentation maintenance of a mineral processing plant, preferably gold
- Basic Computer skills in Microsoft Office Programs
- A current High Voltage qualification is desirable along with working at heights, EWP and confined space qualifications
- A current LV Rescue and CPR certification are also very desirable
- Extensive knowledge of process technologies and equipment including working with SCADA/HMI systems
- A valid current mannual Driver’s License
