Gold Fields is currently seeking a Mine Digital Systems Technician to join our team at St Ives. Reporting to the Projects Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in delivering first-line technical support, installation, and administration of critical mine production systems and digital IT/OT infrastructure. Your work will directly contribute to safe, efficient, and productive mining operations.

This role can be offered on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.

About the role:
-
Assist in effective control of production-related hardware and software solutions.

Digital IT/OT Service Management.

Provide administration and management of mine production system vendor service level agreements.

Support and maintain operational applications, also be involved in the design, install, testing and improvement of applications that form part of the mine production system and digital mine operations centre.

Monitor and control the health of the vital business functions with the operations centre (bandwidth, servers, tablets, Radiating Wi-Fi, On-board telemetry, switches)
About you:

Recognised qualifications in Auto Electrical, Communications, or Information Technology

Previous experience in an underground mining environment

Intermediate computer literacy

Valid C Class Driver’s Licence

Applied First Aid Certificate (preferred)
