Role Details:

Reporting to Finance Manager, the Senior Administrator will be responsible for leading the administration support team for the St Ives Operations. Operating in a diverse and challenging mining environment with multiple stakeholder engagements whilst over seeing a small team to deliver required outputs for the operations.

This role is offered on a 4:3 or 8:6 4:3 roster it is preferred that the candidate be residential to Kalgoorlie or Kambalda, however FIFO from Perth is an option.

About the role:

  • Provide a range of administrative and support services to support the business needs of the operations.
  • Respond to and resolve complex enquiries and issues to ensure the provision of accurate information, and the timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Coordinate and manage records and databases, complying with administrative systems, processes and policies, to ensure that all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible.
  • Develop, implement and monitor office systems, procedures and methods, adapting processes and techniques as required, to facilitate efficient team operations in line with the standards, policies and procedures associated with Gold Fields.
  • Supervises, motivates and assists employees to perform their duties efficiently and effectively to ensure compliance with policy and procedures and proactively participate in all aspects of performance management.

About you:

 

  • Certificate II level qualification in Business Administration
  • WA C Class Manual Driver’s License
  • Proven experience in a mine-based administrative environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • 10+ years’ experience using SAP (ERP) and INX systems
  • Experience managing small administrative teams
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and policies, particularly those aligned with Gold Fields operations
  • Excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Manage and optimise administrative systems and workflows
  • Generate reports and interpret data using SAP and INX
  • Prioritise and coordinate multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records
