We're now seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to join our Processing Maintenance team at St Ives gold mine. This pivotal role will drive asset reliability and performance improvements across our processing operations, ensuring safe, sustainable, and cost-effective production.
This role is offered on 2 x 4 days on, 3 days off, 8 days, 6 days off roster, FIFO from Perth or 4 days on, 3 days off, 5 days off, 2 days off residential to the local Kalgoorlie / Kambalda region.

Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Champion safety and environmental standards, ensuring full compliance with OHS&E systems.
- Lead reliability improvement initiatives through data analysis, root cause investigations, and strategic planning.
- Develop and optimise preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Oversee equipment condition monitoring and asset integrity programs, including Registered and Rotable Plant.
- Provide engineering input into capital projects, ensuring reliability and maintainability are embedded in design.
- Drive cost control through strategic maintenance planning and defect elimination.
- Foster collaboration across departments and contractors, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Manage the site’s Continuous Improvement (CI) and Change Management (MoC) programs.
You will have:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Reliability Engineering (or related discipline) is essential.
- Proven experience in reliability engineering within mineral processing or heavy industry.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in conditioning monitor techniques, reliability tools and software (e.g. SAP, AMT, PRONTO, or similar).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.
