Truck Driver Operator

Gold Fields is currently seeking a Truck Driver Operator to join their Surface Mining Team at St Ives Gold Mine.
As a Truck Driver Operator, you will drive surface mobile machinery to recover ore, and work to ensure targets are met safely and timely following operational standards.

This role will be offered on a 4 days on, 4 nights on, 6 days off roster and you will be residential in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie.

In this role you will:
- Haul loads, working collaboratively with team members, and ensuring ore loading & delivery is undertaken to plan.
- Maintain working knowledge of and commitment to all task instructions and procedures and ensure that these are consistently adhered to when carrying out your work.
- Ensure the mining systems run smoothly by using your knowledge to prevent problems and keep production going.
- Achieve production targets by using your skills and experience to safely and efficiently move ore (loading, transporting, and unloading, understanding cycle times).
About you:
- Previous experience in Surface Mining / Open Cut operations driving haul trucks is essential.
- C’ Class Manual Driver’s License is compulsory;
- Demonstrated high level of safety standards and work behaviour
- HR driver’s license is desirable, though not essential
